Hey guys, right now my life is anything but sh*tty. It is too busy to be!

I nonetheless managed to squeeze in some fun time this weekend.

After work on Saturday, I cycled 2 hours in the mountains...Ah! what a pleasure, I took some new roads up there, it was blissful!

Sunday, I was up early to go cycling again. Then I went shrimp fishing!

This is truely Taiwanese. People gather around a large murky-water pool filled with shrimps. They drink, smoke and eat around. And they catch shrimps. It is similar to fish fishing, except that shrimps can give quite a fight to cut your hook or your fingers. My party of 4 caught 11 shrimps, 4 were caught by me. Now, you may think this to be a pleasant experience. Well, not really. It is very sickening because of all the pain that you inflict on the shrimps. (This is voluntary pain that I inflict as opposed to the not-seen pain cattle go through at the slaughter house) The worst was shoving a kebab stick through their bodies and then grilling them alive. I felt like Vlad the Impalor (Dracula) as I was torturing the poor things.

Then to relieve myself from that stress, we went to see the Pirates of the Caribbeans. It was OK!
